How to aesthetically design a hair transplant?

Description: Here we will explain how to aesthetically design a hair transplant for the best looks the patient wants.
A hair transplant is one of the important factors in determining your look for the next ten, twenty, or thirty years! It makes sense to design it carefully. Doesn’t it? Hair transplant is usually seen in just medical perspective, but its artistic aspects are equally important. You are getting a hair transplant for your looks after all. After meeting many surgeons performing exceptional hair transplant in Abu Dhabi, I have identified the following factors which should be considered while designing a transplant you would be proud to have.
1. Age of the patient
Hair transplant at a very young age is discouraged, and older persons are considered good candidates of hair transplant. But the key point here is that the hairline should be designed in accordance with the age of the patient. If a patient is young, the hairline can be placed at a lower place. On the other hand, older patients should not expect their hairline to be at the same place as it was in their teens. This will have a twofold effect. First, a lower hairline will create an unnatural effect. Older people can look very graceful with a bit higher hairline. Second, the hair follicles needed to create a lower hairline can be utilized in other areas like the crown of the head. This will create a more natural look for older people.
2. Availability of donor hair follicles
As many of us already know, hair transplant does not create new hair. It redistributes our existing hair to create our desired look. So, availability of donor hair follicles is also a determining factor in how much density we will have after the transplant. The newer techniques of body hair transplant (the use of body hair on our head) have solved the issue to a great extent, but the availability of donor hair follicles is still a concern.

3. Degree of baldness
Obviously, the degree of baldness is an important factor in determining our results. If the degree of baldness is minimal, we can expect hairs we used to have in teens. But if we have countable hair on the back of our head, we should be happy to see a few strands nicely combed on the crown of our head. Of course, these are two extremes and most of us fall somewhere in-between.
4. Progression of hair loss
Progression of hair loss should be carefully considered while designing a hair transplant. If your hair loss has settled down, you can expect to retain your look for a long time after the transplant. But if you are losing hair at a high rate, you will notice that your looks have reverted back after a few years. The transplanted hair may still remain on your head, but your existing hair will fall out resulting in decreased density. The surgeon should be able to anticipate a future hair transplant and spare some room for it.
5. Direction of hair
Your surgeon must study the direction your hair grows in and take into account your preferred hair style. Great results cannot be achieved by simply putting more hair follicles in the balding area and hoping for the best! It is essential to replicate the direction of existing hair so that your transplanted hairs don’t seem out of place.
So, when considering hair transplant and evaluating clinics and surgeons, know who will plan your hair transplant, and have a good discussion with him. Be sure that he has considered above mentioned points (and many others as well) to give you beautiful head of hair for a long time.
